Products Overview

IoTRAMTM

IoTRAMTM is a series of products characterized by low power consumption, high performance, and small die/package size, making them suitable for small form factor and battery-powered applications such as IoT, wearables, and display devices.

IoTRAMTM includes two product line: PSRAM and LPDDR

PSRAM

PSRAM (Pseudo Static Random Access Memory) features an internal cell circuit design similar to DRAM but with an external interface (I/O Interface) similar to SRAM. Compared to SRAM, PSRAM offers larger density options at a lower cost, similar to DRAM, while retaining the simple operational advantages of SRAM.

LPDDR

LPDDR (Low Power Double Data Rate) is a low-power synchronous dynamic random access memory developed according to JEDEC standards, offering high data rates and low power consumption.

  • Low Power Consumption

PSRAM's low power design is ideal for devices that need to operate for extended periods without frequent charging. The Halfsleep™ mode is ideal for extending the standby time of system devices.

    Simple Design

PSRAM features a simple interface and low pin count, which can simplify the design of system devices.

    Space Saving

PSRAM is ideal for various small dimension packages, such as Wafer-Level Chip Scale Package (WLCSP), helping to reduce the footprint on printed circuit boards (PCBs).

    Cost-Effective

The PSRAM products offer better bit cost, making them suitable for cost-sensitive system devices.

    Low Power Consumption

LPDDR significantly reduces power consumption by enabling specific features like Partial Array Self-Refresh (PASR), Automatic Temperature Compensated Self-Refresh (ATCSR).These features are supported by AP Memory LPDDR products and help effectively reduce power consumption of system device.

    Small Die/Package Size

LPDDR package size are smaller than commodity DRAM, making LPDDR suitable for space-constrained devices such as smartphones and tablets.

    Wide Temperature Range Support

LPDDR can operate within a temperature range from -40°C to 105°C.
